Lady Gaga Hosts Thanksgiving Special - Other Celebrities Who Will Be Thankful This Year

Can you believe it's already time for Thanksgiving? In only two weeks families across the country will be sharing their love and giant turkeys and that includes celebrities as well. Some celebs make a big deal out of the holidays and this year is no different. Which celebs have the most to be thankful for?

Lady Gaga

Gaga has had another successful year and this Thanksgiving the "Bad Romance" singer will host her own holiday special on ABC "A Very Gaga Thanksgiving" on Nov. 24. Gaga is teaming up with Katie Couric for the 90 minute special and the singer will perform eight songs in front of both friends and family.

"We all know Lady Gaga is a phenomenon," Couric said in a statement. "This is a chance to see more of who she is beneath the wild costumes and staged musical numbers ... Lady Gaga as a high school student still bruised by being excluded from the party, Lady Gaga as a devoted daughter and caring sister, Lady Gaga as a 25-year-old woman embracing fame and fortune that seemed to come overnight. She will impress you, delight you and surprise you."

Beyonce and Jay-Z

Bey and Jay have had a pretty spectacular year. The hiphop legend released his collaboration album with friend and fellow rapper Kanye West and Bey and Jay are expecting their first child together. The R&B singer famously announced her pregnancy on televi! sion at the MTV Video Music Awards at the end of her performance. Even with a bun in the oven the singer isn't slowing down. She released her latest album in June and has been popping out video after video. This is one pair of celebs that have a lot to be thankful for this holiday.

Mariah Carey

This R&B diva has a lot to be thankful for. Like other celebs, she's had an incredible year. In April she gave birth to twins, Monroe and Moroccan, after a complicated pregnancy and just this week she showed off her rockin new body. The star is the new face of Jenny Craig due to her dramatic weight loss of 70 lbs. Aside from her personal accomplishments this year the singer is also rereleasing her classic Christmas hit "All I Want For Christmas Is You" with teen singer Justin Bieber. Carey has talked about how much she loves the holiday season so we know this Thanksgiving will be ultra special for her now that she has a family of her own.
