Once so very close as seen by the photo here Lady Gaga and her longtime stylist and creative director, Laurieann Gibson, have split professionally in a breakup that has Gaga insiders using the word nasty quite a bit.
According to one source, close to the music superstar, it simply boiled down to a clash of two very strong egos, fueled mainly by Lady Gagas decision to cut Gibson loose and move on.
The issues leading to the split had been building for some time. Apparently, Gibson was unhappy with the messages communicated by Gagas recent music videos deeming them too sacrilegious, even for an edgy entertainer like Lady Gaga.
In addition, the singer thinks Gibson is more interested in her own career now that shes a reality TV star, thanks to Born to Dance and the Ryan Seacrest-produced The Dance Scene.
Finally, Gibson reportedly made snarky comments about Gaga still being heavily influenced by Madonna that enraged the younger superstar who has long worked hard to put those comparisons behind her.
ON HER TOES? Some of Jennifer Lopezs chums are a bit nervous about her fling with backup dancer Casper Smart thinking its reminiscent of J. Los ill-fated relationship and marriage with Cris Judd, her rebound after she split with Sean Diddy Combs back in 2001.
As f! or Bradley Cooper to whom Lopez also recently was linked that was pretty much a non-starter after she realized the actor was not looking for a serious relationship right now (at least with her), sources say.

SOMETHING IN COMMON: As Chelsea Clinton mulled over the NBC offer to become a contributor to the Making a Difference segments on the networks Nightly News with Brian Williams, the ex-first daughter reportedly touched base with two other women sharing political and NBC connections: President Bushs daughter J enna Bush Hager (who contributes to the Today show) and Maria Shriver.
Clinton will donate all of her NBC payments to her dads Clinton Foundation and the George Washington University Medical Center (in memory of her late grandmother Dorothy Rodham) and is said to be a huge admirer of Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg. It is Clintons hope to emulate JFKs daughters public service also without seeking political office.
TRUTH COMING?
The murder of Hollywood star publicist Ronni Chasen last year is going to be the subject of a documentary being made by a French company that the Hollywood Reporter reports may shed new light ! on the c ase.
For many of Chasens friends, the official conclusion by the Beverly Hills Police that the publicists killing was a random act by a vagrant who later conveniently committed suicide does not add up.
