Lady Gaga back in Lancaster
You might know her better as Lady Gaga, the pop superstar.
"She came with three other people, and they had lunch -- watched some football on TV and talked to people," Georgallis said. "She was very personable, very nice."
Gaga had wings, Caesar salad with chicken and soup, the city restaurant owner said.
For at least a time, nobody recognized the singer, who was named 2010 Artist of the Year by Billboard, has had a number of international hits and is known for her outrageous costumes, including a dress made of lunch meat and another comprised entirely of Kermit dolls.
"We didn't have a big crowd when she came in," Georgallis said. "But two young girls who were there with their mom and dad recognized her."
Gaga was last seen in Lancaster in September at the Log Cabin Restaurant in Warwick Township and the Bulls Head Pub in Lititz.
She is dating actor Taylor Kinney, a 2000 graduate of Lancaster Mennonite High School, who has family here. In September, he had come back for his grandmother's funeral.
He was with her at the 915 Cafe Georgallis said.
As she did back in September, Gaga did not seek attention and blended into the crowd.
"She wore a black sweater and black pair of paints," Georgallis said. "She was really laid back and chilled."
Once she was recognized, Georgallis said, she signed autographs and chatted with people.
"She was very friendly and down to earth," he said.
