PETA: Rihanna And Lady Gaga Are 'Freaks'
Rihanna and Lady Gaga have reportedly come under fire from PETA after their recent outings after heading out (mutually) in snakeskin boots and a fur coat.
We bet Cruella De Ville Kim Kardashian is breathing a sigh of relief over the fact that the animal activists are angry with another celeb for once!
Lady Gaga was spotted out in a fur coat a few weeks ago, upsetting fans and animal lovers alike, while Rihanna was recently photographed wearing a pair of thigh-high snakeskin boots in central London.
And angry officials at People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals are so very not happy with either of the award-winning singers.
A PETA spokesman explained to the Daily Express that wearing animal skin or fur is "creepy" and that both of the famous girls should be ashamed of themselves:
"Rihanna may not have a clue that snakes killed for boots are often nailed to a tree and skinned alive. Of course, they can't go on Oprah to cry about it."
Ouch. We guess that's a reference to the fact that Rihanna recently appeared sobbing on Oprah Winfrey's show Over her violent relationship with Chris Brown.
"Wearing reptile skin is creepy and callous, and it makes her look even more out of touch... She and Lady Gaga seem so desperate to be freaks instead of recognized for their talents that you have to wonder if they realize that they are being laughed at."
We hope the girls have learned their lesson. Wearing real fur isn't cool, after all - just ask a flour bombed Kimmy K if you don't believe us.
