Lady GaGa plans media blackout

Lady GaGa has revealed that she plans to go on a media hiatus.

The singer insisted that she won't talk to the press after her interview with Oprah Winfrey is televised on Sunday (March 18).

WENN reports GaGa as saying: "Other than this interview, Oprah, I do not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time.

"No press, no television, if my mum calls and says, 'Did you hear about it...' I shut it all off."

Discussing the media attention surrounding her since she rose to fame in 2008, she claimed: "I don't read a damn thing."

GaGa recently became the first person in the world to reach 20 million followers on Twitter.

S! he kicks off her 110-date world tour in South Korea on April 27.
