Lady Gaga Now On Google+
Lady Gaga has joined Google+. Shes been one of the most popular people on other social networks like Twitter and Facebook, and its a little surprising that she hasnt made her way to Google+ before now.
Danny Sullivan suggests Googles Search Plus Your World features may have played a role, given that when you search Google now for music, there is a good chance youll see Britney Spears and Snoop Dogg because of their Google+ profiles. Other musicians will likely follow suit.
Its good to know that there are artists on Google+ now that arent from the 90s.
As Sullivan points out, its interesting that Gaga wasnt already on Google+ given that shes actually visited Google HQ. Here are a couple of Google-related Lady Gaga videos:

Im sure Google has no hard feelings about his absence from Google+ given all the YouTube hits hes brought in for them.

Celebrity use played a significant role in getting more people to use Twitter. Will it do the same for Google+? I dont see why not, especially considering theyll be much more visible in search results. I guess thats why Twitter has a problem with Search Plus Your World.
