Stars like Justin Beiber, Pitbull and Drake along with the unseasonably warm weather helped draw a throng of revelers which Bloomberg called a record.

Largest crowd ever. Its a great night. A couple of million people, Mayor Bloomberg boasted to master of ceremonies Ryan Seacrest, though no specific number on the crowd count was released.
