Lady Gaga is pro-fur, whether PETA likes it or not

Lady Gaga has stirred controversy for wearing fur coats and has received backlash from PETA as well as her own fans.

She also turned heads when she wore a dress made completely out of meat at the VMA Awards in recent years.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Gaga took to her Twitter account to address PETA critics about her most recent fur coat.

She tweeted, For those press and such who are writing about whether or not my fur is actually real, please dont forget to credit the designer HERMES. Thank You! LOVE, gaga.

PETA representative Dan Matthews penned Gaga a letter on the website in response to her tweet. In the letter he reminded her on how she told Ellen DeGeneres about not wearing fur.

Matthews continued on to say, By wearing those dumb furs in a heat wave, youre making yourself a target just like the mindless Kim Kardashian

One of her little monsters wrote, How could you? Thats so messed up. I thought you stood up for better values than fashion at the cost of animal suffering.

Lady Gaga released an official statement on her website in regards to this issue. She said, I want you to know that I care deeply about your feelings and views, and I will always support your philosophies about lifeI do not however support violent, abusive, and childish campaigns for ANY CAUSE, via TMZ.
