GaGa has since reiterated her adoration for the legend, emphasising her delight in being able to hear new Bowie music for the first time once again.
"Laying in bed high listening to Bowies new song (sic)," GaGa tweeted. "A moment of bliss I never thought I'd have again. Listening to new Bowie for the first time."
GaGa has always expressed her admiration for Bowie and revealed during her early career that she based her image on the star.
"I used to sit in my apartment for hours and do [Bowie's] make-up on myself over and over again," she said back in 2009.
