LOS ANGELES, Dec 29 The famed fashion photographer will collaborate with the world famous singer on a new film documenting the release of Gaga's upcoming fourth album.

News of the upcoming film first broke, as it seems to do an awful lot these days, on Twitter:

Merry Christmas little monsters! Terry Richardson @Terry_World is making a #LadyGagaMOVIE documenting my life, the creation of ARTPOP + you! Lada Gaga announced.

The collaboration seems natural. The meat dress-wearing pop icon has a longstanding relationship with Richardson, who has shot her for campaigns by skatewear brand Supreme, as well as following her tour with a series of behind-the-scenes shots for his blog Terry's Diary.

One of the biggest names in fashion, with major advertising and editorial work under his belt, Richardson is not without controversy himself. In 2010 he was castigated by some in the media for his 'sexually explicit' images and accused of inappropriate behaviour with some of his models.

The upcoming Lady Gaga release ARTPOP is due out in 2013 and is expected to be released in two volumes.

Gaga's manager Troy Carter also announced earlier in the year that he would be teaming up with Richardson in 2013 to launch Pop Water, a new drink marketed as a healthier alternative to sugar-filled soft drinks. AFP-Relaxnews
