She's bad, shes bad, she knows it...
Lady Gaga dropped almost a million dollars on Michael Jackson memorabilia on Sunday. Sha-mone! (Ill stop it now).
Among her haul of 55 items is said to be iconic MJ gear including his studded leather Bad jacket and, of course, his spangly white glove.
The Jackophile is in South Africa on her Born This Way world tour but sent a member of the Haus of Gaga (I hear shes got an army of them knocking around) to Juliens auction house in Los Angeles to grab her a hefty chunk of rock memorabilia on what was said to be a spectacular day made for music history.
Gaga (who was represented by paddle number 428, fact fans) was one of a legion of Jackson collectors and obsessives who together bid more than 3.1million on the items during the auction.
But dont expect to see any of it in any of her upcoming shows.
The Lady has confirmed she wont be ditching the bejewelled lobster headpieces or giant eggs and plans to house her Jacko collection in a special archive.
She tweeted: The 55 pieces I collected today will be archived & expertly cared for in the spirit & love of Michael Jackson, his bravery, & fans worldwide.
Earlier she tweeted an MJ quote Study the greats and become greater.
Cant help but wonder if shes learning how to moonwalk too?
A source says Gaga, 26, now has big plans for the King of Pops sh! owgear: She loves the idea of opening up a gallery or fashion museum where she can showcase the items that shes bought.
As a collection, theyre an amazing snapshot into one of the worlds greatest performers and someone who she admires greatly.
Gaga is all about flamboyant stage wear and she also archives all her creations once shes worn them.
"Shes now built up quite a backlog of outfits and I wouldnt be surprised if she displayed them alongside the Michael Jackson costumes shes just bought.
Hope shes ditched the meat dress though. Its bound to be a bit pongy by now.
