Kendrick Lamar Praises 'Beautiful' Lady Gaga For 'Respecting' Hip-Hop
Louie Angelo/WENN.comThe man described as hip-hop's saviour, Kendrick Lamar, says it was a pleasure working with pop icon Lady Gaga, praising her as a "beautiful person who respects real hip-hop."
The 'Swimming Pools' rapper drafted in Lady Gaga to feature on the original version of his fan-favourite single 'B**ch Don't Kill My Vibe' but his record label chose to use a second copy without Gaga's vocals.
This did anything but cause tension between Kendrick and the 'Born This Way' hitmaker, who fondly recalls working with her in the studio.

"Its just great to be around people that inspire you from another genre, you know. In fact, its even bigger for her to respect hip hop music the way she does, true hip hop music, so much respect to her," Kendrick told MTV.co.uk.
Kendrick then went on to describe Gaga as a "beautiful person" with a "genius mind," before revealing that she is a "free spirit in the studio."
After fans were disappointed to find that Gaga's version of 'Bi**h Don't Kill My Vibe' didn't feature on Kendrick's good kid, m.A.A.d city, Gaga released the original track, something which "surprised"! Kendrick. "I didn't even know she was gonna put that out," Kendrick recently told XXL.com.

"That was a surprise. I thought she was gonna hold that in the can. I was cool with it. It showed people we wasn't playin' with it; we was actually in the studio vibing out when we recorded. For her to put it out even undone, that says a lot. That says she's confident not only about her work, but my work."
