Lady Gaga - Lady Gaga Throws Huge July 4 Party
Lady Gaga threw a huge party for her entourage to celebrate American Independence Day yesterday (04.07.12).
The 'Judas' singer - who is travelling the world on her Born This Way Ball tour - hosted the huge event for her 150-strong entourage at Northcote Social Club in Melbourne, Australia, to mark America's national holiday.
Ben Thompson, the music coordinator for the club told Tonedeaf.com: ''Lady Gaga was in the band room and dancing pretty much immediately after arriving. Everyone was loving it, it was the first time in a couple of months that the whole touring party could get together so they had fun.''
Lady Gaga - real name Stefani Germanotta - was also celebrating finishing five sold out concerts at the city's Rod Laver Arena and taking a well-deserved break after two months of non-stop touring in Asia and Australasia.
Entertainment at the party included live music from DJ Kitty Glitter and Lady Gaga's backing band.
Guests indulged in an American barbecue and a sumo wrestling competition.
Gaga was delighted with the Australian leg of her tour, tweeting on Tuesday (03.07.12): ''Five sold out shows in seven days. I think I'm officially Australian. One more show until PERTH! And tomorrow is our HAUS 4TH OF JUL (sic).''
The Northcote Social Club is a popular venue for musicans' after parties, with other stars to rent it out including Pixies, Dresden Dolls' Amanda Palmer and Cat Power.
