Lady Gaga wins ban on Lady Goo Goo
The singer has won a court injunction against a child's character that she says is too similar to her name.

Sometimes celebrities really need to wind their necks in and realise that they are have enough money and fame without trying to stomp down anyone attempting to create something that is a little similar to them or their image. Quickly working her way to the top of that tree is Lady Gaga, who has won a court injunction against the makers of Moshi Monsters promoting a character called Lady Goo Goo. For the love of God.
The character comprises of a baby with blonde hair and sunglasses that became a massive hit on YouTube with The Moshi Dance video. It drew in around a million views per month and Mind Candy, the British company who masterminded it, wanted to release the song via itunes, but Gaga and her lawyers from hell decided that this was too creative and stepped in to get an injunction.
In what was dub! bed a da ngerous precedent in trademark law impacting tribute bands and parody songs by Mind Candy, they have been banned from doing anything with the character that millions of kids fell in love with, which is a bit of a shame for the sake of an over inflated ego.
Does Gaga worry so much that she might be outdone by a childs character that she has to go to this extreme? If so then she really has some issues that need sorting out.
