It's bad news for fans who want to see Lady Gaga climb out of a giant inflatable vagina.

Gaga announced she will be cancelling some of her concert dates for ongoing Monster Ball tour, citing a "show injury" and "chronic pain."

The singer delivered the disappointing message to fans on Twitter in a string of personal tweets.

She explained to her 35 million followers that the problem has been ongoing and she's been hiding the injury from staff to prevent show dates being pulled.

But the pain became too much after her performance in Montreal on Monday night, Gaga revealed that she "could not walk and still can't."

During the tour, Gaga has been wearing a replica of her infamous meat dress before feeding herself into a meat grinder, as you do.

One fan reflected: 'Real unicorns and an inflatable vagina. Only at a @LadyGagashow.'

Which is only slightly concerning because we thought unicorns were mythical.

Gaga's doctors have diagnosed the condition as 'synovitis,' which is severe inflammation of joints.

She wrote on Twitter: "There's an unfortunate announcement coming out right now, concerning myself and the Born This Way Ball tour. I'm so sorry. I barely know what to say.

"I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened. I've been praying it would heal."

The cancelled shows include Chicago, Detroit, and Hamilton, Ontario.

There's an unfortunate announcement coming out right now, concerning myself and the Born This Way Ball.

Im so sorry. I barely know what to say. I've been hiding a show injury and chronic pain for sometime now, over the past month it has worsened.

I've been praying it would heal. I hid it from my staff, I didn't want to disappoint my amazing fans. However after last nights performance I could not walk and still can't.

To the fans in Chicago Detroit & Hamilton I hope you can forgive me, as it is nearly impossible for me to forgive myself.

Im devastated & sad. It will hopefully heal as soon as possible, I hate this. I hate this so much. I love you and Im sorry.
