Lady GaGa calls ex-assistant 'a f**king hood rat'
Jennifer O'Neill is suing GaGa, real name Stefani Germanotta, for $393,000 (248,000), plus damages for 7,168 hours' alleged overtime she worked in two stints for the pop superstar between early 2009 and March 2011.
Court records including a videotaped August 6, 2012 deposition obtained by the New York Post show GaGa calling O'Neill a "f**king hood rat who is suing me for money that she didn't earn".
"This whole case is bulls**t, and you know it," GaGa said, arguing that none of her staff get paid overtime because they work "a 9-to-5 job that is spaced out throughout the day".
"I'm quite wonderful to everybody that works for me, and I am completely aghast to what a disgusting human being that you have become to sue me like this," she continued.
"She slept in Egyptian cotton sheets every night, in five-star hotels, on private planes, eating caviar, partying with [photographer] Terry Richardson all night, wearing! my clothes, asking YSL [Yves Saint Laurent] to send her free shoes without my permission, using my YSL discount without my permission."
GaGa added that O'Neill's $75,000-a-year job "was essentially a favour, and Jennifer was majorly unqualified for it".
Comparing her own workload with that of an eight-hour workday, GaGa said: "I'm just pointing out that I deserve everything I've worked for. I deserve every dollar of it.
"And she deserves every dollar of her $75,000 that we agreed to. But she does not deserve a penny more.
"I'm going to give all the money that she wants to my employees that work hard for me now that deserve it. I'm not going to give it to her so she can go to Intermix and buy herself a new tube top."
GaGa and O'Neill fell out when the ex-PA reportedly insisted on sleeping in one of two beds on a private plane from France to the US and refused to give one of her three pillows to anyone else on the flight.
"When your best friend looks you in the eye and says, 'Why can't I have that seat on your private plane, I'm your friend', the first thing I thought was, 'You're not my f**king friend. You are not my f**king friend'," GaGa said.
