Lady Gaga completes third album

Lady Gaga has completed her third album and will reveal its title in September, an announcement she made via Twitter to her 25 million followers Friday.

According to NME, Lady Gagas co-manager Vincent Herbert spoke about the upcoming record earlier this month.

"Just insane, great records. She's on tour right now, but it's just going to be a great record, he said. Look out for the unexpected, when it comes to her - I'm very excited. We're doing it on the road right now, so it's very hard, but it's going to be great."

Lady Gaga is currently on the Born This Way Ball Tour promoting her second studio album Born This Way, released in 2011. The tour met controversy in conservative Asian countries where authorities and religious groups protested her performances and her lyrical content. A June 3 concert in the predominantly Muslim country Indonesia was cancelled because of security concerns.

Tour dates are scheduled until October 6 with stops in New Zealand, Australia and Europe still to come.

Her first studio album, The Fame, was released in 2008 and included several hits like Just Dance and Paparazzi.

Lady Gaga has also released four EPs, including 2009s The Fame Monster, which brought singles Bad Romance and Alejandro to the masses.
