"I look at GaGa and I think, 'How does she do it?' I talk to her mum and dad about it. They worry," John told The Guardian.
"She is frail, and she doesn't eat when she should do, and she's a girl, and it's tougher for a girl. She works really hard. She will be in Denmark one night and Saudi Arabia the next. I know how tiny she is and I do worry about her, yes."
Lady GaGa - who is the godmother of Elton John and David Furnish's son Zachary - has also reportedly given the 1-year-old a personalised gift for his birthday.
"You know the children's bedtime story Goodnight Moon? Lady GaGa gave Zach a book called Goodnight GaGa," Furnish is quoted as saying in The Sun.
"She basically had a special version made for Zachary and there are really cute little references in it - you know, he's in the s! tory and she's in the story.
"His name's on the little hairbrush in the book. It's very special."
