Lady Gaga unfazed by critics
Actress Didie Alias's avant garde gown at the recent Anugerah Bintang Popular BH (ABPBH) 2012 received criticisms from fans, but she remains unfazed, reported Berita Harian.
Nicknamed the Lady Gaga of Malaysia, Didie, 39, said she chose to wear designer Farell Mikhail's creation to suit the award's theme Ledakan Geometri (Geometric Boom).
She added that she only donned outlandish fashion choices due to the nature of her job, but outside of work, she was like everyone else and usually wore jeans and T-shirts.
Didie, whose real name is Fadzilah Mohd Ali, clinched the most popular female comedian award at ABPBH, and plans to throw a thanksgiving feast for her fans.
I also hope to go on a holiday with some of them, she said.
