Last month, we learned that Lady Gaga had to cancel the remaining dates of her Born This Way Ball Tour due to a hip injury sustained earlier in the tour and was preparing to undergo surgery to repair a labral tear in her right hip. With the surgery behind her, Gaga needed a new set of wheels to get around in and what better for the So You Think You Can Dance guest judge than a 24-Karat gold wheel chair? Keep reading for more details.

According to E! News, Gaga commissioned designer Ken Borochov of the luxury label Mordekai to create the custom blinged out wheel chair for her. And while he has designed a few crowns for Gaga and even some hand adornments for her October fragrance launch, he had never created a wheel chair before. But that didnt matter, he took up the task and didnt disappoint, delivering a 24-Karat gold plated wheel chair he so aptly named the Chariot, a chair fit only for a queen, he said.

Borochov fashioned Gagas new ride using tufted leather seats to closely resemble a motorcycle jacket and added 24-Karat gold spoke rimmed wheels. And lets not forget the stylish canopy for those days when the sun is just too bright for Gaga to endure. She can open up the canopy for hands free shade. Plus the chair reclines in the event Mother Monster becomes too tired or uncomfortable to remain in an upright position. She can simply lay the chair back and an assistant can wheel her with ease from one location to another. Now thats luxury!
