The artist debuted the above short, blonde bob at the Chateau Marmont on Sunday (April 22) in West Hollywood. Contrast that cut with a pic Gaga tweeted of herself back in February and you can see the drastic change from her lengthy brown tresses. Of course, Gaga is no stranger to alterin! g her looks on a regular basis, sporting wigs or bald caps or even dressing up as her alter ego Jo Calderone. There's no official word as to when Gaga will be back at it after her surgery. She did recently celebrate her 27th birthday, writing on Twitter, "So many bouquets, chocolates, cupcakes champagne and gifts I feel like a princess. Judging by her history of wacky hairstyles (pink, green, shaved, bows- you name it, shes tried it), one might be led to think that Lady Gaga wouldnt be opting for anything remotely conventional anytime soon. However, on Sunday, the 27-year-old starlet chose LAs legendary Chteau Marmont as the venue to showcase her brand new peroxide bob. We love! Since undergoing an operation on her hip in February, Lady G has been taking time out of the spotlight to recuperate, so perhaps this hairstyle comes as a welcome break for the singer, usually known for sporting some seriously zany wigs and dramatic dos.
